We had planned this day in advance and everyone had travelled back to the Petrie Homestead especially for the session. Of course the forecast didn't look great and it started pouring as soon as I pulled in their driveway. But I quickly learned how easy going this sweet family was. The rain didn't stop them one bit and we started out taking some photos in one of the barns. Kittens, baby goats, highlanders, horses - a kids playground! I can't even imagine how much fun it was to grow up on that little piece of country heaven. The rain finally let up and we were able to snap some photos around the farm just as they had hoped.
